Staff Profiles
Daniele completed his Bachelor of Theology degree at the Pontifical Faculty of Theology in Sardinia. He then became a teacher, working with middle and high school aged children, teaching religion. He taught for ten years in the public school system in Italy before moving to Melbourne. He has also worked as an Italian language tutor in Australia since 2022.
Daniele’s passion and curiosity for ancient civilizations combined with his aptitude with software led him to discover GIS (Global Information Systems) technology and its applications in the field of archaeology. He has created maps for archaeological studies of Sardinian areas. In his current role at CWHC as a GIS mapper he creates maps that include all the information (geomorphological, geological, native vegetation) that might be useful to better locate and analyses archaeological sites in Victoria.
Daniele loves cooking and baking pizzas and cakes. He is always keen to play soccer and ride his bike to discover the most iconic and hidden parts of Melbourne.
