Shane has had a varied career path that includes working as an historian and heritage interpretation specialist as well as 14 years’ experience in ESL education and administration. In his current incarnation, Shane is an editor at CWHC and is in charge of editing and proofreading reports and business communications to ensure they meet the highest standards of clarity and professionalism.
Shane is a self-professed “grammar nerd”. He transitioned into the editorial field in 2017, refining his skills across various domains, including academia, fiction and corporate literature. He has since edited and translated several French-language children’s book titles for Lake Press Pty Ltd and written a series of articles on famous artworks for a UK publisher, scheduled for publication in 2024.
Shane’s interests include art, film and reading and he makes a great lemon drizzle cake.
